Create an itinerary including Deutsches Eck (German Corner)
Right where the Moselle river joins the Rhine, Deutsches Eck (German Corner) memorializes the long path to postwar German unity. You can explore the Koblenz park's site of the 13th-century settlement of Teutonic Knights. Then look for the imposing monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I. It was recreated and placed here in 1993 as a symbol of the desire for German reunification. The 37 m (121 ft) tall structure is decorated with the crests and shields of each German federal state. Pay a visit to the pleasant green space and riverside outcropping. You'll find plenty of places watch the riverboats and water traffic. Deutsches Eck (German Corner) is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

  • This is a must visit spot if you are visiting Koblenz. You will be able to see two rivers merging here at the spot. The view to the other sides of the river is amazing. You can also take seilbahn(cable car) from here to go to the top of a fortress
  • Such an historical place with rich history. If one enjoys long walks, one can walk along the riverside and reach Deutsches Eck, without any problem. Absolutely magnificent memorial of the Kaiser.
