The fountains in front of the palace are very beautiful. If they do not work, wait a bit. I recommend visiting the palace in the spring or summer. Pay attention to the gardens.

One of two neighbouring fountains in front of Schloß Herrenchiemsee. This one is dedicated to the Roman goddess of fortune. It was designed at the end of 19th century according to an antetype in a Spanish royal palace. Very nice water play.
