Nice place to visit but was a very cold day and the view was not so clear. Be prepared on the winter, because it's a very open and windy area.

Excellent museum about a very important part of German history. Walking through the old army outpost gives you an opportunity to immerse yourself into the world of the Cold War and thus make the experience more tangible. There are plenty of great items on exhibition, from big military vehicles like decommissioned tanks and helicopters to the smaller ones, like a decorated room that gives an impression of life in the encampment. The museum nearby offers a fantastic selection of contemporary documents that make you cringe, leave you thoughtful and even make you laugh on occasions. This place is even more relevant with the political developments of the reason months. A clear recommendation to visit if you are around in the area!
