An amazing way to see Cottbus from above, only 2 Euro. Also the clock rings every 15 mins or so..so don't get startled. Stairs are kinda steep

About 30 meters high, Spremberger tower is situated on the edge of old town. You can climb to the top for a small fee of 2€, the view from there is quite nice. You can see as far as 5-10 km on a sunny day. The viewing platform up the top can fit about 20 people at max. Definitely recommend to visit if you got a few spare minutes in Cottbus.

Climbing up the old stairs is fun and upstairs you are greeted with a beautiful view across town. It's worth it. Staffed by helpful and friendly volunteers who keep it open year round.
