  • Interesting settings in the former Dominican church and convent. A nice range of archeological founding.
  • We were there on a Thursday afternoon, practically alone. The experience was very intimate with the incredibly ancient objects there. There's plenty of information (though, unfortunately, only in German) but the collection is mind-blowing nonetheless, a timeline from the stone age until more recent historical eras. The best part of our day was when we were approached by one of the curators, who asked us if we needed any help... we showed interest in some of the Bronze Age items, and next thing you know, he spent almost half an hour giving us a guided tour and answering all our questions about the origin, history and evolution of these objects. Don't forget to visit the old church, which is mostly empty as it's multi-denominational now, but carries traces from its long, long history.
