  • If you're interested in Roman history, it's a great place to visit. Very interesting museum covering in depth the "Battle of the Teutoburg forest" some of the displays have English and German information. If you intend to walk around the park, I would strongly recommend you join one of the guided tours. You will get much more information about the battle site. They also have extra displays. We were lucky enough to visit the Pompey, very well layout and informative, information guide book for the displays also available in many different languages. The centre has very good wheelchair access, a large parking area, and a restaurant near the museum (did not have time to visit). There is also a small picnic area and a souvenir shop. Allow 2 - 4 hours for your visit.
  • Well done exhibit on Roman and German history in 9AD and it’s legendary effects of German culture. Top notch museum.
