Beautiful place. Small, but not too small. Grounds are kept and the structures are old, but maintained. If you want to see what a real life castle is, come to this place. It has an aura of walking into someone's home, as it has been in private hands since 1939. Good way to spend an afternoon

I have been here multiple times, and never dissapoints. The tour is relatively cheap, and takes about 45mins, the castle was the home of a series of counts in the middle ages. This castle has also been used in a few german language films, like the famous five and Bibi Blocksberg. The restaurant on site is fine and also has good coffee and cake on offer.
