  • Incredible! Very well laid out, and explained. And the Gate of Ishtar and the Greek square reconstruction is truly breathtaking. Wander a bit more to as the history of near East is very well explained. The second floor has some exquisite (but small) collection of Islamic art.
  • There genuinely are no words to describe some of the pieces in here. Four thousand years of history has done nothing to dampen the majesty of some of the pieces. A little part of me does wonder about the misappropriation of another culture's historical legacy and whether there pieces really belong thousands of km from where they were brought forth but that aside this place is an absolute must see!
