We arrived at the yearly held farmersmarket. Smoked "steckfisch", home-smoked-salmon, fresh liquidised applejuice, homemade tarts... Too good to be true, and mouthwatering... The museum itself is not.... more

it was great, kids loved it. Big downside - no card payments for anything (entrance, coffee place, restaurant) and you are in the middle of nowhere so forget about ATM.

It's a great experience with children to see the lifestyles of different professionals from not-so-distant-time. It's quite interesting, I would say, to understand how they lived and worked. What I really find amazing in some of those living houses that there is a lot of rooms available, which indicates that families living there were also big and more social compared to modern time. Worth visiting with family and friends.
