The old church is no longer the island church, a new evangelical and a catholic church were built. Because of its unique, simple beauty and its intimacy, it is ideal for small weddings or baptisms. With the island bell, the symbol of Baltrum, it is a popular attraction for tourists. You cannot walk it, but you can view it through a glass door. Taking pictures of the interior is not announced in full afternoon sun, as the glass door is not anti-reflective. It's better in the morning when the sun is behind the little church or when the weather is hazy.
