    Set in the heart of the small old city, this basilica (ordained by Pope John Paul II) has very beautiful windows - obviously, they survived the two world wars! Very impressive also the central altar.....  more

    Not be missed when staying in Amberg.. interesting anterior .. try to attend a church service... interesting restaurants just outside the church away from the marketplace

    Beautiful inside and out. Had Covid restrictions but was able to view inside from the back entrance. So much history!
