Visited May 7, 2022. Rather quiet. Few visitors in the park, 3:30 guided visit full as was the 2:20 we saw when we arrived. Description as "Versailles of Normandy" somewhat overstated but beautiful...

Bit pricey, but the gardens are well worth a visit. The chateau was a bit disappointing. Take a picnic as no cafe. All in all an enjoyable experience.

The garden is listed by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France. The Château built between 1653 and 1665. Since 1992 Jacques Garcia French architect, interior designer and garden designer, best known for his contemporary interiors of Paris hotels and restaurants owner of the Château du Champ-de-Bataille. He also became an avid collector of furniture and royal art objects dispersed after the French Revolution. We can see some of his exceptionnel collection during the visit

Absolutely stunning park design, must walk and see, takes at least 1 hour. Inside guided tour, 45' but rooms are overloaded with old furnitures, paintings and statues....
