Domaine des Oiseaux, Mazeres

A favorite place to visit. A colony of storks, lots of water birds, donkeys, small farmbird walk, old farm machinery shed and a lovely walk along the river that's accessed from behind the restaurant. Hides to view the birds from. Don't forget your binoculars to get a closer look.

This is a lovely place to walk around to see wildlife.... not very busy. But when I came across some of the birds they were in small confined spaces it wasn't nice to see. There was a peacock there that didn't look in the best of health in the most ridiculous tiny space.... all his tail feathers were gone. I love nature and this is a nature reserve so I didn't understand why certain animal... birds were confined like prisoner's.
