  • Nice place to call for a stroll and dog walk. There is an arboretum and the castle is pretty. Its quite unspoilt as it isn't really commercialised

  • Need a peaceful wall among the trees? We toured here through an organized ship tour, and it was beautiful. Very glad we got to see this.
  • This was on a list of places to visit, so as we were passing by we thought we would take a look. We were surprised to find the village heaving with people, and car park attendants routing us to playing fields to park. It was a special day, they were having a Medieval fare with jousting, the French against the British. Even managed to down a French-made IPA beer. Strong and quite tasty. If there had not been the jousting, then there probably was not much to have seen. Yes there is the Arboretum with lots of trees. The castle is rather on the small side, though nice moat.
