Grimbosq forest is a great place for a good walk 🚶‍♂️. You find there many different kinds of trees 🌳 and different kinds of tracks 👣 A path to walk, another one for bicycle and also for riding horses 🐎. Also you can take a path to see animals. There were two kinds of deers and a family of boars. Seriously it was so funny to see. What we also noticed in that visit, that some of the tree trunks looked very similar to animal's sculptures. You can also find a place to sit and to have a picnic. You can see all of that in the photos. Notice. No toilettes there.

The forest is managed by the Commune of Caen for recreational and educational use as well as a sustainable source of wood and timber. The mixed beech and oak forest has various routes for walking, all terrain cycling and horse riding. Also, there are historical, cultural and botanical trails with educational information. The deer park and the arboretum are special features that are well worth a visit.
