When the scene is set by families and not the TV it all becomes far more real and we could have spent much longer in this fasicating place. They kept an eye on our bikes which was very kind of them...

I was expecting a dark dingy place all in French and what a surprise, alright it is a little dark and there is a lot of French, but this seems to add to the mood and there's an English note on nearly everything. The resistance, deportations exhibition up stairs was very moving.

Needed to give a star to leave information. We turned up on a very wet Monday, after making a special trip for my birthday, to find it closed even though google maps info said it was open. A poster outside says it’s closed on Mondays between April & September so if you are visiting during these months, be aware. Would love to have left a positive review like the others & may return one day.
