Casino d'Evian, Evian-les-Bains

The CGN ticket agent in Lausanne recommended the Evian Casino restaurant for reasonably priced good food & service. We had an impromptu boat ride to Evian. This restaurant is affordable compared to Swiss restaurants. The server spoke English and very helpful. We enjoyed our food and drinks.

The staff were not sure what was the correct process - attire, buying chips, Drinks and so on.. At the entrance we asked if we were able to enter with our summer clothing (as it is beach resort) later to find out we were restricted to only play computer/slot machines and roulette and other tables were restricted to full pants attire. The bar closed 30min before closing time, so we were not able to have drinks. What is the management thinking I don’t know - this is not a way to earn/spend money when the rest of the city is sleeping. Worst casino experience ever
