100 years old in 2017 this enormous structure is something to behold. You can visit and go inside. Not expensive. The exhibits are somewhat a ramshackle but charming all the same.

This relic is well worth a visit. The scale of the hangar is breath taking. It might be a slightly forgotten piece of history, due to it's more popular neighbours such as the d day landing beaches and well funded museums in the area. The attached museum is full of curiosities and lots of information. The gentleman there was enthusiastic about his subject and could definitely answer any questions you might have!
