Create an itinerary including Deauville Beach
Located on what locals refer to as the "Parisian Riviera," Deauville Beach remains a prominent landmark of this seaside resort. The most notable features of the sandy beach are colorful parasols and a 1920s boardwalk lined with art deco changing booths. Notice how every booth bears the name of a film star--not surprising, given that the town hosts the American Film Festival. Sports enthusiasts can choose between tennis, volleyball, basketball, and soccer facilities; go speed sailing, kayaking, windsurfing on the water; or horseback ride along the shore. Those with a love for laps can swim in the seawater Olympic pool. Plan to visit Deauville Beach during your Deauville City vacation using our convenient Deauville City trip planner.

  • We had no luck because it rained during our entire stay but we imagined that this beach must be very good under the sun, we will try to come back in July 22

  • One thing to remember: Go south of river Seine for sandy beaches. North of Seine you get gravel. Deauville Beach is a nice wide and sandy beach with shallow slope into the water and life guards around to warn you if winds, wave or currents are getting tricky. A great place.
  • This is a small beach, the best time to visit here is summer, there are many restaurants around the beach where you can have instant breakfast or lunch. Those who find halal restaurants will find two Turkish restaurants there. The food is fairly good and the price is not too high. It will take about two hours by car to get here from Paris. Apart from the beach, there are other places to visit in the vicinity.
