The entire third level of Musee du Jouet is filled with 231 model trains, running on more than a half-mile of track. A collection of first-edition 1959 Barbies and notable dollhouses made by famous artisans awaits you on the first floor. See toy cars made before World War II. The second floor presents the locomotive collection, set on a backdrop of realistic scale-model railroads. Scenes with light and sound depict real depots, different types of trains used for the transportation of goods, and passenger cars complete with miniature people.   • An interesting museum. Full of toys remaining from 19 century. Free entrance for kids under the age of 8 and only€5.30 for the rest.  more »
  • We (4adults) visited this Toy-museum and enjoyed it. It isn't too big so doesn't take long time but it's interesting. It is in the centre of Colmar. You can see lots of old toys (Lego, Barbie etc...  more »

  • Loads of fun they had, my 6 year old daughter and her 7 year old cousin. Very interesting toys to look at, including quite a few Barbies throughout the years, loads of games they could actually play, and an 8 minutes puppet show as well! However very small, worth every penny.
  • It's a great place. Nostalgia awaits you behind every corner. So adults have a great time. Kids enjoy it, but not as much, or so it seems. There's a part there where you can sit and play games - it should be further improved, in order to fulfil its potential, and get the kids hooked as well..
