We went to all of the beaches and all the museums and while they are all great, we liked this one the most. In the start it has a really great timeline which summarizes all the important events in the war and gives a good impression if you are not familiar with it. This museum also has the most tanks and trucks and other huge machinery, which is truly impressive to see! Great museum all in all!

The best World War II museum I’ve been to. What makes this place stand out is the detail they put into their displays. It’s like you are walking through a movie set or history with life like scenes and sounds. My 7 years old loved it! Also it’s not crowded and located it a cute town 5 minutes from Omaha Beach.
