Having visited the Dday beaches and the interior country following the Battle of Normandy I finished my week at Montormel. It was outstanding in giving a panoramic view of the conclusion of the battle called the Falaise pocket. The tour by a knowledgeable guide included in the entry fee was vivid in the horrors of this campaign.
