What a privilege to be able to visit this beautiful, private collection in such a charming and intimate space. The warm welcome we received from Mr. Miraille was lovely, to chat with him and listen to his story, to learn how he was inspired by his mother, a couturière for a Paris fashion house was wonderful. It all started from one dress that grew into a lifelong passion for collecting exquisite pieces of history, perfectly preserved garments and accessories that also have their own story to tell. The exhibition was curated and created with a style that made the whole experience highly unique and memorable. Some of my favourite pieces were "Les Billets Doux" the beautifully decorated little cylinders from 1760 to 1780 used to transport secret love letters, and also the decorated fan telling the story of the diamond necklace affair involving Marie Antoinette. Congratulations for the ten years anniversary of this stunning museum, and thank you Mr. Miraille for sharing your infinite passion for beauty with us.

Fairly small but the exposition is well thought and covers a large time frame. Historical events are also present trough the pieces exposed. It is well situated, less than 5 minuts from the cathedral by foot. Great experience overall.
