  • Our family just traveled to the Caymans for the first time only months after getting our Scuba certifications in Saint Louis, MO. Don Foster’s Dive shop was highly recommended to us by a family...

  • My wife and I got certified with Lindsey and she was fantastic! She was super patient, explained things well, and we always felt safe underwater. Even the harder drills like face mask removal...

  • Me and my partner dived with Sergio, JP and Nick for two days. Amazing dive shop where you feel relax and safe. They always went the extra mile to make sure you have a fantastic experience. You feel comfortable asking them questions about diving, your gear and they give great tips and reminders for diving. If you have any issues, let them know and they help you. We rented almost everything and the gear was fantastic, in great shape, and they had spares. They were prepared for anything that could have happened, which is very much appreciated. So many diving options, we did Big Tunnel, Kittiwake, other wrecks and night diving! The guides were able to show us amazing creatures both big and small and amazing debriefs on the history of sites. They also explain the importance of a healthy reef. Highly recommend this dive shop, give them an email or call and they will be there to help. Sergio answered all our questions and made us super excited to dive, he even took the fear of night diving for the first time away from me. All staff at the shop were amazing too, they helped us get to the dive shop from our hotel and back, and helped fill out our dive sheets. We also got to experience our own buddy shore dive for the first time and the team made us comfortable enough to try it and it was worth it! Annnddd... JP and Nick taught me how to make water bubbles and that's important 😊
  • So let me tell you three things about Don Fosters Dive Cayman that I have not experienced before on any dive boat, and I've been on dozens and dozens of them: 1) Every dive boat I have been on in the Caymans includes a guided tour where the divemaster takes you in a big circle and you end up under the boat at the end of the dive, when one of the divers is low on air. Sounds fine; however, on my recent trip with Fosters this week, they felt there was a bit of a strong current, so instead, THEY DID A DRIFT DIVE. I have never seen a Cayman operator do a drift dive before, and it was great; the current nudged us along, you barely had to kick, and you covered a heck of a lot more of the reef than making a big circle. 2) My son and I dived three days with them. On the second day WE WERE THE ONLY DIVERS. That's right, with only 2 divers Don Fosters took the boat out for just us. How many dive boats do you know that will go out with only TWO divers? NONE, that's how many. But Fosters did. 3) The second dive of the day is usually a bit shallower than the first dive, and if you're lucky you can get 60 minutes of bottom time- even if you have air left, most operators want you back on the boat in 60 minutes. On our second dive of our last day we did a real shallow reef, 30-35 feet deep. Not only was the dive beautiful, but our profile allowed us to dive for 82 MINUTES. How many operators do you know that will let you stay under for 82 minutes??? Not many, if any. The boat is comfortable, the crew is super friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you get your money's worth. I'll dive with them every time I am in Grand Cayman.
