  • One of the most stunning urban parks around. I have visited this park in the dead of winter, as well as during the splendid summer, and it never ceases to amaze me how huge and fantastic the park is. The stairs can be treacherous in the winter, please wear appropriate footwear! You can walk on nicely developed trails, or opt for more a more remote and wild variety; or you can opt to accelerate your ascent to the top by taking the stairs. The view at the top is iconic, as is the cross on the other side of the mountain top. The chateau at the top is also impressively large. Try your best to see the city on a clear day, you can see as far as the mountains many miles away. This park is so big that even when it’s busy, it is still quite tranquil.
  • A nice hike up. Quite challenging when the stairs are all covered in snow/frozen. Nevertheless, still a great place to walk around in. Saw a lot of people who were cross-country skiing, as well as people walking their dogs. The view would be nice in the evening, but I didn‘t wait for it😅
