The actual skiing is decent for the East Coast, but the crowds are almost unbearable at peak times (i.e., between Christmas and New Years). There are a few large hotels at the base of the mountain...

Beautiful tourist destination with European style buildings, a great view from up the hills, and lots of shops and restaurants to explore. We went in Oct 2022 where it was still warm and sunny, so none of the attractions or gondolas were open. All the shops and restaurants were available though and most required waiting for some time before being seated. The area to explore is quite hilly but do-able for families. If you go up further, you can get a great view of the resort as well as a small waterfall. Highly recommended to visit and parking is free at non-VIP lots.

A truly amazing place! Fantastic ski and snowboard resort village. Winter fun for the entire family. A village full of restaurants and shops for all your needs. 360 degrees of scenery you'll not soon forget. Already planning my return to experience what this mountain village and surrounding area has to offer in its 3 other season. A must-see destination.
