Twin Lakes, Banff National Park

Came here on a Monday around 10AM, not many cars. The trail starts going downhill first, not too long before the first lake which is quite big. It then goes uphill for quite a while until Arnica Lake, which is quite pretty. Goes uphill some more, a bit muddy and icy in some spots. It then goes down to Upper then Lower Twin Lakes. Pretty lakes, some larches are still out. Didn't see many people especially past Arnica. Lots of up and down on this hike!

This trail is rated difficult because is up and down twice in both ways . You loss 120 M then gain 735 M . We found it's challenging , but the views are well worth the effort . There is a view point at the high point after lake Arnica that you can see all three lakes . The view there is awesome ! Specifically during the larch turns yellow . At this spot you can see the larch as far as your eyes can see . ( Remember to turn right at the big rock by the hike trail. There is a small trail head )
