Indeed this is an interesting and exciting experience. One can find themselves in a medieval atmosphere, try being imprisoned, try on a knight's helmet and gloves, observe the variety of cannons, enter the dungeons, well and many many more. the views from the castle are amazing! Definitely a recommendation.

A clashing point from the old times between Tyrol and Bavaria. There are some interesting displays and videos (with English subtitles!), but some areas are a bit dated and badly lit. At noon every day you can hear the great organ playing and they hold events from time to time. If you're in the Kufstein area, it's worth a visit.
